How do I make a featured item take priority?

1) Click on 'Merchandising' in the Control Panel under the 'Website' heading. Then click on 'Featured Items' on the right side panel.



2) Click on 'Edit' icon to go to it's settings page.



Click on the 'ADD ITEMS BY ID' tab. 



WarningThe featured item page is a results page and is sorted in the default order.
3) If you'd like your soon to be added 'Featured Items' to take priority, turn on the toggle switch of 'Yes' at the 'When displaying a selection of featured items should the items below take priority?' prompt.


4) Enter the ID of the item or items that you would like to prioritize being featured in 'Search Items' textbox and click on '+ ADD BOOK(s)' button.



5) You will see newly added item in the list below. When you are finished adding your featured items, click on the 'Save' button to finalize.
